The Texas Chainsaw Musical!‘s first performance of the year will be in Cleveland, OH from Jan 20 – Feb 12, 2012. It will be the first production for the newly-formed, Blank Canvas Theatre. For Producer-director Patrick Ciamacco, the horror-comedy musical genre is familiar territory, having previously starred in and produced Evil Dead, The Musical to rave reviews. The material is in good hands. “This is the first time we’ve had a fan of the genre direct the show, so there’s a genuine love and understanding of how the show should be performed. This is going to be the best Chainsaw yet”, author Christopher Minori says.
Minori and composer, Cory Bytof, will be on hand for a special showing that includes a question and answer period with the audience. Be sure to catch it when the blood hits Cleveland! Tickets are available here.
